Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Foretus ("we") collects through the KitcheQ website and service, why, and what your rights are. KitcheQ is operated by Al Husn Al Arabia, a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and trading as Foretus. Contact: [email protected].
1. Visitors of kitcheq.ai
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security, kept for a short period. If you write to us by email we keep the correspondence to answer you.
2. Customers and their users
When a business registers for KitcheQ we collect the information needed to run the account and bill the service: company name, country, registration and tax numbers, address, the names and emails of the users the customer creates, and payment details, which are entered on our payment partner's secure page and stored by the partner, never by us. We use this data to provide the service, to send the daily reports and service emails, to invoice, and to meet legal obligations. We keep account data for 30 days after a subscription ends, then delete it, except invoices and tax records kept as the law requires.
3. Pictures from the customer's kitchen
The service works on still pictures from the customer's kitchen cameras. These pictures show the customer's staff and are personal data. The customer is the controller of these pictures and Foretus is the processor: we process them only to provide the service to that customer, under the data-processing terms in our Terms of Service.
- We do not use face recognition and do not identify individuals. Results describe practices (a missing head cover, open food), not people.
- Pictures are deleted as soon as the day's report has been sent. Pictures the system is unsure about are kept in the customer's review queue until the customer's reviewer answers, or 14 days at most. Pictures the reviewer has answered are kept, with eyes blurred, as labelled examples to improve the detection, until the customer's subscription ends.
- Pictures are stored and processed in the region shown on the customer's account and do not leave it.
- Foretus staff see pictures only for support, for reviewing the system's answers, and for the learning use above, under confidentiality.
If you are a member of staff in a kitchen that uses KitcheQ, your employer is the controller: questions about the cameras, the notices and your rights go to your employer first. We help employers answer such requests.
4. Sub-processors
We use a cloud-hosting provider for the platform, an email delivery provider for service emails and reports, and a payment partner for card payments. Each processes data only on our instructions. A current list is available on request.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to named staff with a need and is logged. Customers' data is kept separate. We notify affected customers of a personal-data breach without undue delay.
6. Your rights
Depending on your country you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority (in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Data and AI Authority; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the European Union, the data protection authority of your country). Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the version and date at the top change when we do, and customers are told by email of material changes.
